The story continues and we are happy to tell you that we organized the 3rd edition of the Kick it for Wonschstär. The last 2 years, we managed to get female and male teams to participate, but this year due to a low on demand, we predominantly had men teams with a few exceptions, where there were a handful of women who couldn’t just stay away but mixed them self into these teams. On the 25th of June, approximately 200 athletes have found the way to Bous/Remich and enjoyed playing football throughout the day with much nicer weather conditions than the previous years, which wasn’t bad for the overall atmosphere.
After more or less 8 hours of tacklings and beautiful goals, the team Nike FC proved to be the best team after winning the final with a score of 3:2 against the team DS Gehier. We as a foundation draw an overwhelmingly positive result and plan to maintain the tournament as one of our yearly events.
We are enormously grateful for the big support, wheather this be from the many teams, the helpful volunteers or our many sponsors. Many thanks to everybody involved and we hope that you had as much fun and pleasure as we did. We are already looking forward welcoming you next year and we wish all the players, who suffered some injuries, a good and fast recovery.
